Editorial policy
Who writes our guides?
Our guides are researched and written by the Office Refurbishment London editorial team. We are an independent introduction service, not a fit-out contractor, so our guides are general information rather than professional advice. Every price and statistic is linked to its source, with the date we checked it.
Who checks our guides?
At the moment our guides are not individually reviewed by a practising surveyor or fit-out professional. When an independent reviewer is appointed, we will show their name, their professional registration and the date of their review on each guide they check. We will never invent reviewers, credentials or testimonials.
How we research
- Primary sources first. We use regulators, government and NHS guidance, legislation and professional bodies wherever possible, and link to them so you can check for yourself.
- Prices from published price lists. Where we quote prices, they come from providers’ own published price lists or published industry benchmarks. We name the source and the date we checked it. Prices are typical ranges, not quotes.
- No made-up figures. If we cannot find a reliable source for a number, we do not publish it.
- Plain English. We explain technical terms and say clearly where something depends on your individual circumstances.
Independence and how we are funded
Office Refurbishment London is free to use. We are paid by the fit-out contractors we introduce enquiries to, as explained on our about page. Partners do not write, edit or approve our guides, and they cannot pay to change what our guides say.
Updates and corrections
Each guide shows the date it was published and the date it was last updated. We aim to recheck prices and key facts at least every six months, and sooner when rules or published prices change. If you spot a mistake, email hello@officerefurbishmentlondon.com with the page address. We will correct factual errors promptly and update the “last updated” date.
Reviews, images and AI tools
We do not publish testimonials, star ratings or reviews on this website. Photographs are labelled stock images showing models or generic settings, not real patients, clients or projects (see image credits). Software, including AI writing tools, may be used to help draft or check content. Facts, prices and figures are checked against the sources cited on each page.
Your decisions
Our guides help you prepare questions and compare options. They cannot replace a personal assessment by a qualified surveyor or fit-out professional, who can confirm what is suitable for you and what it will cost.
